About Us

I'm Neil Oliver, the owner/operator of Turfology. At the young age of 14 I began working on a maintenance crew at a golf course. I realized the passion I had for Turf after years on the golf course. I decided to pursue a career in the golf business and enrolled at ABAC In Tifton, Georgia for a degree in turf management. After acquiring my degree, I worked as an assistant golf course superintendent for a couple years before landing a head superintendent job at the Orchard in Clarkesville, Georgia. I was Superintendent there for 13 years before starting my next venture in life - Turfology.
